We permit comments on the majority of our articles. Comments are subject to moderation, filtering, spell checking, editing, and removal with or without cause or justification. Comments posted under false names or aliases for the purpose of personal attack will be deleted without warning. Repeated off-topic comments or failure to address direct questions will subject comments to deletion, and their author to a ban. Persons claiming first hand knowledge of specific situations should be prepared to provide proof or comments will be be subject to removal.
Advertisements or .sig file text will be deleted.
All comments are reviewed by comment spamming software and by the site administrators and may be removed without cause at any time. All information provided is volunteered by you.
Comments consisting of regurgitated talking points will henceforth be deleted on sight. This isn’t a place for you to quiet the voices in your head, respond to something someone said on TV, or copy/paste from a blast email you received.
Think before you post a comment. We argue the merits of issues, you are expected to do the same. For example: If you are arguing electability, cite polls. The comments section is provided to discuss what was written in the post, not strawmen set up by pundits.
If you followed a link here from AOL, CNN or other traditional media site, be advised that this isn’t a venue to discuss what was published on the linking site, but what is written here. If this confuses you, DO NOT COMMENT HERE until you understand the difference.
We reserve all rights of refusal and deletion of any and all comments and trackbacks. This isn’t a “freedom of speech” issue, as you are free to start your own blog (for free) at WordPress.com or any number of other platforms.
