And Then There Were Two

Igor Volsky of ThinkProgress was inducted yesterday into the Typo Hall of Fame (where he was warmly greeted by Josh Marshall, who has so far been the only member). Volsky made it into the elite group for a positively Marshall-esque performance: two typos in three words.

Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) is now the second Republican to reluctantly admit that “deem and pass” is a legitimate procedure that Republicans have used is the passed.

Learned conjecture is that he meant the sentence to end with “in the past”.

Finally, Josh Marshall has a peer. Volsky has actually been knocking on the door for a while; it just took him a while to raise his game to Marshall’s level. I’ll be watching with interest to see if this is just a flash-in-the-pan, or if Volsky will continue to distinguish himself in this vein.
