Obviously Sarabeth has the Onion-esque Nobel Peace Prize story covered, and since I’ve been traveling all day, I was unable to register my confusion. As far as I can see, at best, Obama won the award because he’s NotGeorgeBush. I say “at best” because Guantanamo is still open, no one is being held responsible for the awesome torture regime, we’re still fighting two absurd wars, and making noises about a third in Iran.

This whole thing reminds me of when Time magazine named me 2006 Person of the Year because I was on the Internet. And really, I’m NotGeorgeBush as well, so I really feel like I was robbed.
