Don’t look now, but it looks like the controversy over Sarah Palin‘s last pregnancy (as in “Was she really pregnant?”, “Is Trig really her baby?”) is about to boil over (h/t Shaun Mullen at Kiko’s House).

It’s not going to help that Palin had steadfastly refuse to release her medical records during the last presidential election, which is pretty unprecedented for a Vice-Presidential candidate. Steadfastly refused to release the records after repeatedly promising to. And provided absolutely no explanation for the non-release.

Unless you count “it was simply taking a while to call doctors and round up the appropriate information to release” as an explanation.
