Don’t Tell The DCeiver!

If he finds out about this poll, “New York State of Mind” could end up meaning 20 million new drug addicts:

As the White House urges New York Gov. David Paterson (D) not to run for office next year, a new Marist Poll finds that 62% of New York voters think the Obama Administration is wrong to suggest the governor should not run while 27% think Washington is well within its rights to get involved.

Even a majority — 51% — of Democrats believes the Administration is meddling.

And while we’re on the usual subject of me being right, I was looking around in the archives yesterday, and we still haven’t answered the question: more pretty or more hefty?

Bully for the 27%! Of course, “affording Paterson the opportunity to not go down in flames” only becomes “meddling” by dint of the leak. I recall you attesting to being supportive all manner of arm-bending so long as it took place behind closed doors. That’s my preference, too! (Though those doors…they’re always a bit ajar.) At any rate, none of this changes the merits of removing a wounded, unsupported candidate from a primary he can’t win and could cock up.

    true!

if he can’t win, how could he cock it up? nullus?
