…but I couldn’t have said it any better:
[Caller to President] I’m getting a little ticked off that it feels like the knees are buckling a little bit. You have an overwhelming majority in both the House and the Senate, and you own the whole shooting match. And I’m just not getting — it’s very frustrating to watch you try and compromise with a lot of these people who aren’t willing to compromise with you.
I wouldn’t have said “shooting match” because I’m not 70 years old, and with everyone bringing AR-15s to town hall meetings, it feels a bit too literal. But this is exactly right, and at least the President can’t say that he’s never heard the sentiment. This is also a striking display of the intensity gap that is 100% going to lead to big losses in 2010.

How could you not love this guy?
President Barack Obama on Thursday outlined four provisions he indicated must be part of health care reform, pointedly declining to include a public insurance option as a necessary part of the mix.
Have I really chased all of the Obama supporters away? If not, now would be a really fantastic time to display a little – just a little – intellectual honesty.
