Eileen, hmmm it seems to me like you are jealous or Mrs. Obama, like the Republicans are of P. Obama’s popularity! The man has only been in office for a little over 30 days, and everytime he does something the Republicans and Fox news along with alot of the other Bias Media accuse him of everything. 8 years ago your last President Cheated by getting in the White house and went after the guy his Father could not get during his term. Then a ton of lies and misleading information went on while he was in office, alot of people got off the hook, alot of company’s stole their employee’s life savings and ran for it. Your President didn’t offer anything for these American’s. Your Party didn’t offer anything for these American’s and guess what the men that ran away with these American’s money were all Republican, Lieing and misleading and outrage bulling seems to be the way of the Republican Party. You rather let the country go down in flames before you follow the leadership of someone that is not on your side, or trying to be like you. You rather let the poor stay poor while you and your friends stay rich and work us the lower class to death. We have a chance to get this country back on track and here we are fighting cause a Black man is the leader of the Free nation and alot of people don’t like it. Now we see the Republican’s trying to diversify thier image just for a Vote. You guys are a Joke and the Puppets you have chosen to lead your party are a real Joke and if any of them run for President they will not win. Give Up YOu WILL NOT WIN!!!!

Sara Beth, Do you really think it fair to criticize delivery on campaign promises after only 30 days. The way I see it Obama made stabilizing the economy his first priority and determined repealing bushes tax cuts at this moment in time could hurt public perception of the stability of the economy and weaken it further. This does not mean that the Bush tax cuts are staying through the entirety of Obama’s term and there are still 3 years for the man to keep his word.

Before you argue that the president shouldn’t be making decisions based on public perception, I would argue that the entire U.S. economy is founded on public perception. If people feel that jobs are in ready supply, and money is easy to come by, no matter the reality of the situation, then they will spend away on all the many services that the U.S.offers. If the perception is the opposite, then people hide all their money under their mattress and write books about the end of the world coming.

The Obamas in the white house is a testament of how far this country has fallen. Vogue magazine has Michelle on the cover with the caption “The first lady the world has been waiting for” What a joke. What an insult to every real sophisticated, classy, white, first lady that came before. Michelle is a racist who had to have her image remade because nobody could stand her or anything that came out of her big mouth. By the end of four years it will be her that keeps him from getting re-elected. The media keeps trying to tell everyone how beautiful she is, We have eyes and there is nothing good looking about her.

Good day Sarabeth,
I’m a little confused about your post. If I interpret it correctly, your calling Mr. Obama a hypocrite for not keeping his campaign promises. Are you saying that he’s the same as the last guys, and that’s a bad thing, or that it’s a good thing? Or are you saying he’s different from the last guys but it’s not a change? Can you maybe do a little compare/contrast to clarify the point?

That “believing-in-change” thing has always worked for me. I think change is a part of the natural order of things. Even the Catholic Church reinterprets dogma! Can you provide me with your alternative to change? I’m giving great consideration to the things a US citizen would not want changed and my list isn’t very long.

Both sides want change. I think you argue against the changes you don’t like, which is one of the benefits of living in this great country.

Now, I tried to find other posts of yours, to see if I could get a crip on your politics, but I couldn’t find any. So I’m going to assume that you are a very concerned citizen that got on the last admin for the “I’m a uniter” talk, and for not vetoing one piece of legislation until his party lost control of Congress. I’m hoping you can send me a cite for a previous post.
