They missed an opportunity to really collaborate, Obama listened, Obama went to them. Did George Bush EVER ask the opposition 's opinion? No. He did what the House Republicans did now... my way or the high way. Obama has tried to introduce an new approach, but the Republicans rebuffed it. I saw no evidence of any Republican except for the 3 Senators, trying to cooperate. They deserve to be a regional party. The Republicans failed.
