Here’s one of the giants of the conservative movement, in a reflective moment:

One, I don’t know about the American public, but the Republican party certainly deserves him.

Two, I do so wish he would run for public office. For President, actually. My dream scenario: he wins the nomination from Sarah Palin, turns around and invites her to be the bridesmaid if not the bride; Palin accepts, and becomes the Plumber’s helper.
