Much in Obama stimulus bill won’t hit economy soon – AP (1/19/09):
Much of President-elect Barack Obama’s effort of $825 billion or so to rebuild roads, bridges and other infrastructure won’t hit the economy for years, according to an analysis by congressional economists.
$825 billion is the total “stimulus” cost. Less than $300 billion is for infrastructure. But it’s OK, this story only went out to a couple hundred newspapers.
