Telling Half The Truth

AP:

A spokesman for the Office of Military Commissions says prosecutors have filed war-crimes charges against two Guantanamo detainees, accusing them of training al-Qaida recruits in Afghanistan.

Joseph DellaVedova says the maximum sentence both men could receive is life in prison.

For some reason reason, AP was silent about the fact that, as with all other Guantanamo detainees, there’s a minimum sentence that comes into play if they are found innocent: indefinite detention.

I can understand why Joseph DellaVedova might have been too shy to mention this. But AP doesn’t work for the same boss, do they?
