Didn't we long ago reach the point where the media needs to set the record straight and start admitting that yes, the intelligence <em>was</em> right? Wouldn't a straightforward "With all due respect, Mr. President,..." from Charlie Gibson have been enough to satisfy the "deference to the president" requirement? Isn’t the media showing undue deference to the President what got us into the Iraq war in the first place?
