My sister-in-law just returned home from a 17-hour day working at the polls. She tells one particularly heartbreaking story of a 101-year-old woman who did not have a driver’s license and so was not allowed to vote, thanks to IN’s IDIOTIC voter ID law–the most restrictive/draconian in the nation. Let’s hope “change” includes a repeal of this stupid law, for the sake of that old woman, who was denied what was likely her last opportunity to vote.
