Larry King on the Larry King Live blog last Friday; he seems to want an apology from John McCain too.:

Sen. John McCain appeared on CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman” Thursday night, three weeks after he raised the ire of the generally mild-mannered host by canceling at the last minute, citing his decision to suspend his presidential campaign because of the financial crisis.

The Republican presidential candidate apologized for skipping out on a scheduled visit in September that Letterman later made the subject of an ongoing joke.

Note: Last month, Sen. John McCain cancelled an interview with “Larry King Live” as well. On Thursday, he re-scheduled with Letterman but we’re still waiting for the senator to re-schedule with us.

We’ve also extended an invitation to Gov. Palin to be a guest on the show, as Sen. McCain assured us would happen in his last appearance. As Sen. McCain said on the show back in July, ”I want to say that the vice presidential candidate will be on your show. I will not risk the wrath of Larry King. I want to assure you.”

John McCain gave his word. Larry King got to see what it’s worth. So where’s the wrath of Larry King? Is this really the best he can do?
