Looks like I’m going to have to pass on my own “Joe the Plumber” t-shirt
People in this country simply have no clue what they are talking about when they start comparing tax policy. “Joe the Plumber” thinks that raising taxes on people who make $250,000 creates a slippery slope that will slip’n'slide down to $100,000. Hell, Joe, why not $50,000 while we’re at it? After all, $100k is closer to $50k than it is to $250k. Obama‘s constant repetition of his tax cut mantra pisses me off to no end because it reinforces Republican frames, but no one can listen to him and think he’s going to change his mind and start sticking it to people making $50k or even $100k.
Past that, Joe went way out of his way to make the point that Obama “speaks pretty…better than I do,” and then compared him to …Sammy Davis Jr. Well, he’s not a skinhead by accident apparently.
