The choice: riding off into the economic rainbow versus The Second Great Depression.

So what did our vaunted country-first House Republicans do yesterday? Voted 2-to-1 for The Second Great Depression.

And you know why? Because Nancy Pelosi hurt their widdle feelings by making what they are trying very hard to pretend was a destructively partisan speech. Maybe Boehner will actually burst into tears over this; how long can he go on holding those tears back?

Unfortunately for Boehner, and other hyper-sensitive Republicans, Pelosi’s speech is available for everyone to read and judge for themselves. So if you have an open mind at this point as to whether the Republican criticism of her speech may be warranted, go ahead and give it a read. Or maybe you are willing to take CNN’s Ed Henry‘s word for it? After looking at Pelosi’s speech, CNN’s Ed Henry said he couldn’t “find the partisan thing that they say sort of inflamed Republican members.”

What can one add to that, except a “nullus” for “inflamed Republican members”?
