On Saturday Night Live last night, Tina Fey came back to lampoon Baby Sarah again. Except this time, she used actual quotes from Baby Sarah. What Baby Sarah herself says in all seriousness is so funny that even the SNL writers can’t improve upon it.

This, evidently, made Honest John jealous. So he showed up on ABC’s This Week yesterday morning to declare: “I came back (to Washington, from the debate) because I wasn’t going to phone it in.”

As readers with an attention span longer than McCain’s or Palin‘s will remember, just the previous day his campaign had explained that phoning it in was all he did on Saturday after coming back to D.C.
