People are apparently wondering why Honest John doesn’t suspend his campaign and ride to the rescue all over again (seeing as how we still have a crisis, and he cannot, by his own heartfelt admission, “carry on a campaign as though this dangerous situation had not occurred, or as though a solution were at hand, which it clearly is not”).
