Tim Russert, on Meet The Press yesterday, to Scott McClellan:

“Some have suggested because you were a part of the propaganda machine that sold the war, that many people have died and been injured because of the war, you should donate some of the profits of this book to the families of the victims of the Iraq war,” Russert said. “Will you do that?”

Well, Mr. Russert, sir, many have suggested that you were a part of the propaganda machine that helped sell the war. Shouldn’t you donate some of your handsome salary to the families of the victims of the Iraq war? How come it has never occurred to you to do that?
