Bush: White House ‘clear and candid’ on economy - USATODAY.com
President Bush, defending his record and his rhetoric, said Saturday that his administration has been “clear and candid” about the nation’s economy.
“We saw the economic slowdown coming, we were up front about these concerns with the American people, and we’ve been taking decisive action,” Bush said in his weekly radio address.
Even if we set aside the President’s own economic happy talk, Is it really possible that he’s not counting Hank Paulson in the royal we? Oh well, what does the Treasury Secretary know about economics anyway?
No more predictions outta me!

If you’re stupid enough to believe ANYTHING a Republican says - you’re stupid enough to have all of your money taken away from you.
It’s too bad the rest of us has to suffer for idiotic morons supporting Republicans, but then that’s the price we pay for living in a democracy that allows morons to have voting rights.
If people would just remember that whenEVER we’ve had a Republican leadership, the economy sucks. It’s only when we get Democrats in power that the economy gets better. Oh, gosh darn - we might have to pay higher taxes to get that prosperity rolling. Gee - paying a little money to make A WHOLE BUNCH MORE.
Only an idiot wouldn’t mind doing that.
