When I’m in downtown San Francisco, my lunch of choice is a Burrito Mexicano at Tlaloc Sabor Mexicano. It’s pretty insane as far as burritos go, featuring nopales (cactus) as well as queso fresco and green tomatillo salsa. Add in some of their Infierno salsa which is basically crushed habañero peppers, and you have one of the best burritos in SF.

I last had one last Thursday, cost including tax: $7.00. Today: $8.19. That’s a 17% increase, unless you happen to be Mike Huckabee, in which case it would still be a 14.53% increase.

I would love to vote with my feet on this one, but my personal demand for the Burrito Mexicano is decidedly inelastic.
