Tonight I received a weird, out-of-the-blue email from a former correspondent I’d not heard from in a while. Must have been a long while as it implored me to “join the Obama movement” in the context of it being Dr. Martin Luther King Day.

Over the weekend, Obama gave a speech that heavily referenced Dr. King, and since I already covered this ground last May, I’ll just link to that since no one has been able to properly refute it. “Ultimately a genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus, but a molder of consensus.”
