Delta

At the end of their New Hampshire primary coverage last night, one of the networks played a montage of clips, each one featuring a different candidate saying the word “change.” It’s bad enough when any word is overused - and all of the Democrats are doing that - but listening to Mitt “Double Guantanamo” Romney and John100 years in IraqMcCain throw the word around is really a bit much.

I’m reminded of a very stoned Jon Lovitz demonstrating the effects of saying the same word over and over:

Looks like I picked the wrong decade to stop getting stoned 24/7.

The interesting thing is that each time a candidate says the word “change,” it is a barely indirect damnation of the current President. As such, I really wonder what the people responsible for translating English into whatever Bush’s native language is tell him is going on with the race to replace him. Or maybe no one’s broken it to him that he’s not going to be able to continue wiping his ass with the Constitution much past the end of the year…
