Rudee’s Personal Culture Of Corruption

First we learned that New York City taxpayers generously sprang for a police car and driver for Rudee’s mistress Judee, which she used as “her personal taxi service.”

Now we learn that this was a friends and family plan:

A source involved with the mayor’s operations at the time tells CBS 2 HD that Nathan took flagrant advantage of that police car and driver.

The source says Nathan forced police to chauffeur her friends and family around the city — even when she wasn’t in the car.

No doubt this will only get better next week. Maybe we’ll learn that her friends and family sub-let the car to their friends and family? Or maybe they only made it available to people they were having adulterous affairs with? Or perhaps, somewhere along the line, a mobster got to use the car too? Or a drug-dealer? Or a child molester?

    At the time, it was not uncommon to see Nathan being chauffeured around the city in an undercover Dodge with two detectives, who sometimes even helped to walk her dog.
