The Hillary has been criticizing Barack Obama‘s lack of experience. It is one of the key fronts in the primary battle they are waging (not that I mean to suggest that it’s a two-person race at this point). So you would think that Obama at least gets it. But judging by his recent response, he really doesn’t seem to:

I am happy to compare my experiences to hers… I don’t know exactly what experiences she’s claiming.

Um, Senator… “experience” and “experiences” have very different meanings in this context.

Kucinich is the one claiming experiences. Hillary is claiming experience.

But since you brought it up, do tell us about your experiences. You have our attention. America is all ears.

(Obama didn’t used to have noticeable trouble with the English language. Could it be that the pressure of the campaign is getting to him? Or is this his way of trying to reach out to some of Bush’s die-hard 27%?)
