In her November 6 press briefing, Dana Perino offered a tantalizing glimpse into the White House’s current thinking on the subject of dictatorship:

Q Dana, does the White House believe that Musharraf is now a dictator?

MS. PERINO: Look, I think that that is — it’s premature to say that.

Unfortunately, she didn’t expand on the subject. But I would dearly love to know what more Mush has to do to qualify as a dictator in Bush’s eyes.

Mush and Bush. What a pair they are. What a pair they have. (Maybe poker players everywhere will adopt “Mush and Bush” as slang for “two pair”?)
