Senator Chris Dodd has taken a bold stand on the new FISA bill that absurdly provides retroactive immunity for the telcos who gave personal data to the Bush administration without a court order. His hold won’t last forever, and counting on a successful filibuster isn’t wise.

Please take a few minutes to sign the open letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid letting him know that we’re watching on this, and that retroactive immunity runs counter to the rule of law and the Constitution.
