I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
Lynne Cheney on MSNBC (10/16/07):
One of the things I discovered was that Dick [Cheney] and Barack Obama are eighth cousins. Is that an amazing thing? If you go back eight generations, we have a common ancestor.
*The author of this post understands that there is a nice warm spot waiting for him in hell, where he will no doubt be joined by Dick and Lynne Cheney. Comedy, like raping the nation for fun and profit, is a dirty business.

If you had an 8th cousin running for President, it would be natural to say that you have a certain bias in the race.
But Lynne Cheney goes on to say her bias is against Obama.
So she brought up the whole 8th cousin thing only to explain why they’re rooting for Obama to lose?
And this is the lady Jon Stewart decided he should go easy on last week, because she’s only the wife of a public figure?
