Three of the eight announced 2008 Republican presidential campaigns are considering retired Army Gen. Tommy Franks as their pick for vice presidential candidate, according to Republican Party operatives.

“Tora Bora” Tommy on the ticket. Let the clown show continue.

    If the poor guy hadn’t got the The Presidential Medal of Freedom, I might have said, yes, go ahead and throw him a bone, make him a veep candidate.

    But he already got his. And there are enough others to go around surely? Really crappy veep candidates who haven’t (yet) picked up their medal or the thanks of a grateful nation.
