So He’ll Go No More A-rovin’

Who would have thought that Rove would ever resign? Of those, who would have thought Rove would resign before Buttercheeks? But resign he has, with the thinnest of “family reasons” fig leafs.

“There’s always something that can keep you here, and as much as I’d like to be here, I’ve got to do this for the sake of my family,” said Rove, who has been in the White House since Mr. Bush took office in 2001.

Rove’s son attends college in San Antonio and he said he and his wife plan to spend much of their time at their nearby home in Ingram.

Is he really saying he’s resigning so that he can spend more time with his college-age son? Same old Karl Rove to the bitter end, huh? Nothing but contempt for his audience (which, of course, means the entire American public).

Just a few idle questions:
1) Murder or suicide?
2) Does this mean Cheney is now even more firmly in charge of Bush?
3) Will this increase or decrease the Bush administration’s determined lawlessness?

i dont think this will change the amount of lawless activity in the administration, i just think it will make it less slickly covered up.

Does anyone believe that because he changes his physical location, he won’t still have his finger in the mud pie?
