I don’t mind it in casual conversation, but when it permeates into the workplace, it, like, grates. I’m always amazed at how many people rely on it to convey a thought, even in relatively high-level meetings here at the coalmine.

but the reason for the hardline now is an ex who used it so much that by the end of the relationship i was counting how many times she used it per conversation.
