He Said, She Said

Sen. David Vitter, apologizing for consorting with prostitutes:

This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible. Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there — with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way.

Wendy Vitter in 2000:

I’m a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary. If he does something like that, I’m walking away with one thing, and it’s not alimony, trust me. I think fear is a very good motivating factor in a marriage. Don’t put fear down.

Is Vitter still the man he used to be? Could that be why he last used the services of Deborah Jeane Palfrey sometime before 2004, as he claims?

A must-read development. I’m not going to try and summarize it. Just make sure you read all the way to the end. 1115 is not responsible for any injuries you may sustain from falling out of your chair laughing.

assuming that you are being sarcastic, is the hypocrisy of vitter not very important?
