Trusting Petraeus

Om May 10, I wrote a post questioning the assumption that everyone seemed to be making that Gen. Petraeus could be trusted to deliver an honest and fair assessment of progress in Iraq.

Lawrence J. Korb, assistant secretary of defense in the Reagan administration, has a piece in today’s Philadelphia Inquirer in which he spells out why he thinks “Petraeus is not a reliable source for an unbiased assessment”.
