With Friends This Stupid…

During the “nuclear option” meltdown two years ago, we brought you the story of “Phil A. Buster”, the idiotic campaign from a left-leaning advocacy organization:

You have to be kidding.

There’s really no other reaction once you see Alliance For Justice’s new “secret weapon” against the Republicans’ proposed plans to eliminate the filibuster in judicial nominations (otherwise known as the “nuclear option”).

Apparently, the Republicans are supposed to be cowed into submission by a flash cartoon featuring “Phil A. Buster” and his friends “Chex” and “Balanz” as they battle the evil “One-Party-Rule Robot”

I didn’t think I’d live to see the day that Phil would look good by comparison, but the ACLU manages to win this little race to the bottom:

I get that working at a liberal advocacy group doesn’t pay all that well, and it might be a bit difficult to attract quality talent, but I’m quite certain that there are some out-of-work dot-commers who’d do a better job for a pair of Burning Man tickets.

Step Up Your Game.
