My 8th-ranked Presidential hopeful, Senator Barack Obama on the President’s expected veto of the Iraq withdrawal bill (4/26/07):

“We are one signature away from ending the Iraq War.”

That’s about as perfect an example of sound-bite politics as you’ll find. John Edwards had a statement that was good, I don’t mind saying that Obama’s was great.
