Before giving him your endorsement, please try to have some direct dialogue with the man, or at least speak with a handful of people who have interacted with Edwards.

I think I was pretty clear in what I said. Clark isn't going to run, and if I'm wrong and he is, his lack of signals (including to me, a donor in the last cycle) is a serious problem.

As far as Edwards, he's simply the only one of the announced/probable candidates who is acting like a Democrat. If not after an election where being a Democrat was a very big benefit, then when would Clinton/Obama/Vilsack/Biden etc think that pushing Democratic ideals was a good idea?

And if you have thoughts on Edwards from a first hand meeting with him, I invite you to write them up, I'd be happy to post them on the main page here.

Before giving him your endorsement, please try to have some direct dialogue with the man, or at least speak with a handful of people who have interacted with Edwards. I participated in a luncheon and discussion with Edwards and saw nothing that suggested he wasn't a completely superficial, celebrity-seeking politician completely unwilling to open discussion on any topic. Stick with Wes Clark.
