Over the last three or four years, we have somehow come to accept it as perfectly normal that the people at the very top of the Bush administration – including, at the very least, President Bush and Vice-President Cheney and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld – are and always will be seriously out of touch with reality. So seriously that words like delusional do not even begin to cover it.
