Oh Sweet Jesus

I really can’t take it anymore:
In a speech he said he wishes he had given before the 2004 presidential election, Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) yesterday described his religious life in greater candor and detail than ever before.
Full text of the speech here. No, I haven’t read it, and wouldn’t do so at gunpoint. Kerry does however get bonus points for talking about religion rather than talking about talking about religion.
Also, someone should make a list of all the things Kerry has said he wishes he did in 2004. Making sure the votes got counted, spending all of his campaign money, confronting the Swift Boat Liars, playing to win…

This is a political ploy of the most sordid kind: using religion for votes. Anyway someone needs to tell Kerry that one CANNOT be Catholic and support abortion. Another doomed attampt to market oneself as a politician with substance. When will we ever have worthy poliicians?

Yeah they do, and this ain’t it. Kerry whining about what he should have done is ridiculous. But wait, we agree here, right? You said you wouldn’t read it.

No no. Kerry has brought us together in thought. He is a great man, indeed.
