I Wouldn’t Want to Listen to Man-on-Dog Either
by matt at 6:00 am on May 26th, 2006 in Congressional Man DateThe Senate Majority Project caught Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn doing what he does best during Tuesday’s immigration debate. And it wasn’t arguing pro or con.

Unfortunately for his constituents back home, this isn’t the first time Coburn opted for a crossword puzzle over his professional responsibilities.
Last time it was during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Samuel Alito. We were curious about what kind of puzzle it was. Here’s what we found:

Accross:
1. “_______” are rampant in Oklahoma public schools.
4. Another word for “tailbone.” Sounds dirtier than it really is.
6. Clothing worn by fancy city-folk.
8. Synonym for “theft.”
10. A pestering, nagging or irritating person; most Democrats. Also sounds dirtier than it really is.
Down:
1. Political ideology responsible for 9/11.
2. Other than storks, where babies come from.
3. Document that governs the United States.
5. An acceptable substitute for cursing.
7. Most profitable company in history. Reliable source for campaign cash.
9. Pejorative term for female homosexuals.
