Not the part that DMX comes from, I suspect, but nevertheless, that might explain it. I know this having used to hail from said County (don't hate--it's definitely not gully, I'm not proud). And another thing, isn't it the typical move of rappers who declare "no matter how much loot I get I'm stayin' in the projects forever" to then quickly move to the leafy green suburbs as soon as that first royalty check clears?
