Associated Press story on Cindy Sheehan’s arrest as carried on Yahoo News (9/26/05, PM):

Both ran under the byline of AP reporter Jennifer C. Kerr who seems to have been reading a few too many right wing blogs and newspapers to maintain any semblance of objectivity. As time passed on Monday more and more news organizations, to their credit, replaced Kerr’s words with more neutral (and accurate) text. But on Monday night, Google News still lists 175 instances of the original wording.
When was the last time a major newspaper ran an opening (or any other part of a story) like this:
George W. Bush, who used the tragedy of 9-11 to launch an elective war that killed Sheehan’s son…
Obviously never.
Correcting the offending text isn’t enough. The AP and Kerr owe Sheehan an apology.

It’s crazy to see how american medias manipulate public opinion. I thought United states was a free country. Now I see Soviet Union wasn’t much worse. Just another dictatorship.
