Luckily the White House named Cynthia Glassman acting SEC chair and not James “Dow 36,000″ Glassman, although would it really be that shocking?
Judging how fast Reuters changed the page to include a picture of Ms. Glassman, others may have needed coronary care as well.
In related news, outgoing SEC chair William H. Donaldson gave an interesting interview to BusinessWeek on his last day in office. Donaldson actually did his job well, a true rarity in Washington these days.
