The contest is already centering itself as a core fight over Republicanism. King is a social moderate and fiscal conservative who has sometimes clashed with the right-wing elements of the party. Terry says the district has no room for moderation and that he can better represent Republican principles.

We are, after all, a party of family values. We believe in the values that support families, like jobs and healthcare and education, and we’ve proved it. And without their concrete expression in effective policies, you can’t support families.
Doctors to Pharmacists: We’ll Decide What’s Best for Our Patients
The AMA resolution calls on the doctors’ group to discuss with pharmacists’ organizations ways to enforce their policies requiring their members to either dispense the medications, regardless of conscience, or refer patients elsewhere.
If that does not work, the AMA included in its resolution a statement that it may seek to gain permission for doctors to dispense medications to their own patients if there is no other pharmacist within a 30-mile radius willing to fill their prescription. Normally, only state-licensed retailers are allowed to sell drugs.
