First Lady of Maryland is not a big enough office for Kendel Ehrlich. So while her husband, Governor Bob Ehrlich struggles through scandals, Kendel likes to make headlines.

A couple years ago, she came under “fire” for a quip about a certain pop princess:

Ehrlich, 42, talked about the need for “educating our women to get as much schooling as possible, to not become dependent on anyone else.”

“It is incredibly important to get that message to young women. You know, really, if I had an opportunity to shoot Britney Spears, I think I would,” Ehrlich said, laughing. “I hate to say that, but you know, like I said, I’m raising a boy … and I think, ‘Oh my goodness, what would I do if I had a daughter who is seeing these images and having peer pressure?”‘

No word on whether lesson plans in Maryland have been altered to reflect the new reality: Murder is always the solution to theoretical peer pressure.

Now, unhappy with coverage of her corrupt husband in the media, she has trained her guns truncheon on newspapers:

Mrs. Ehrlich took aim at newspapers, saying “they lie. I would punish my son if I caught him in a lie, and they need to be punished.”

Little Junior Ehrlich must love being the justification for his mom’s agitprop. But he’s probably used to all the teasing that comes with being the offspring of a hack politician and an assassin/dominatrix. Hopefully Junior won’t have to spend too much time in therapy.

Kendel Ehrlich should know that she can’t get away with this nonsense in Maryland, but if she moved to California, she could become Governor.

But seriously, Kendel Ehrlich should SHUT THE FUCK UP! and go back to cutting ribbons and having high tea.
