Pathetic Protest
by matt at 6:05 am on September 23rd, 2004 in MediaNothing better to do? Why not protest CBS News?

Aside from being sparsely attended, this protest has the added benefit of being hypocritical. The groups that participated, Accuracy In Media and Free Republic, hold Fox News up as the paragon of journalistic excellence. Luckily the rapid response team at the Center for American Progress just released a greatest hits package of Fox News faux pas including y personal favorite:
Fox News was so openly close with the Bush campaign in 2000 it allowed Carl Cameron to cover George W. Bush, even though Cameron’s wife was working on the Bush campaign.
Now that’s journalistic ethics. If they only would have picketed CBS Entertainment, I could see the point: Someone needs to stop Everyone Lobes Raymond and The King of Queens.

What’s with the guy holding the ‘It’s accurate to say CBS News is fake’ sign? (top-right photo)
He looks like he is wearing pajamas and a towelling robe. What’s with that? Had he just escaped from hospital?
Or perhaps he is one of the pajama bloggers we’ve been hearing so much about lately.
