A quick check of his listings led me to the Sneaker Pimps party, starring none other than DJ Premier. Damn. And I thought nothing could top meeting James Carville…
After several inter-borough and transcontinental phone calls trying to get directions, April and I finally found the spot. Of course Primo didn’t disappoint, rolling out a funk, rare groove and classics selection. The kicks weren’t bad either.
