Apparently Tom Ridge doesn’t even feel the need to mask his propaganda anymore:

Is this quote supposed to make citizens more or less willing to believe the information? Personally, if Ridge told me there was a bomb under my bed, I would sleep like a coma patient.
Look man, your job is to keep us safe. Politicizing your already pointlessly vague chicken-little warnings is as transparent as it is counterproductive. Unless you’re just trying to get your boss reelected…
In other Ridge news, it has been reported that he doesn’t think his $175,700 salary is enough to put his kids through college:
Ridge, 58, has explained to colleagues that he needs to earn money to comfortably put his two children, Tommy Jr. and Lesley, through college, officials said. Both are now teenagers.
