If you guessed “fuck,” wrong again.
By now, you’ve seen reports of “Big Time” Dick Cheney dropping an F-bomb on the Senate floor:

Seems Leahy had the temerity to question Cheney’s involvement in Haliburton winning no-bid contracts in Iraq. The horror.
Luckily Leahy didn’t mention Cheney’s energy task force, his actions in the command bunker on 9/11, or his lies about Iraq-Al Queda connections. In those cases, the F-bomb is eschewed in favor of pistols at ten paces.
A few days later, Cheney went home to Fox News for an interview with Neil Cavuto.
Cavuto asked Cheney if he had cursed at Leahy. “Probably,” the veep replied.
Hmmm, where have I heard that one-word answer before?
Asked by CNBC’s Gloria Borger if he was privy to information about Iraq’s links to Al Qaeda that the 9-11 Commission did not have, Cheney replied, “Probably.”
Ahh, that’s right. Probably.
Has Dick Cheney acted in ways that subvert the constitution? Probably.
Has Dick Cheney lied to and misled the American people? Probably.
Is Dick Cheney a fucking douchebag? Probably. Yes.
Man, I feel so much better now. That must have been what Cheney was talking about when he said:
“I felt better after I said it.”
