Some bloggers, including at least one who I respect quite a bit have decided that it’s not OK to say “no homo” anymore (or ever?).

Normally I save my verbal shots for the real enemy, so call this an exception.

I will say “no homo” whenever I feel like it. Here’s why:

The point (for me) is that “no homo” is funny because Cam’Ron is a complete moron and apparently says it without irony. This from a clown who walks around in pink and purple furry outfits.

I’m not using it to denigrate gay people (no homo). I think that there is ample proof on this site that we are pro-gay (no homo), and take just about every opportunity to call out those in power who wish to write discrimination into our laws.

There is such a thing as taking P.C. too far, and not recognizing the difference between mockery of a jackass and actual hatespeech is taking it too far.

These guys know what’s up. Everyone else needs to recognize.
