By now, you should know how much you saved thanks to the great tax cut buffet of the last few years. Somehow it escaped me that George W. Bush saw his taxes cut by 12% while Dick Cheney saw a cut of 4% in taxes paid. Moreover, Cheney’s effective tax rate was just 13.1%, which I can assure you is significantly less than my own rate.

These guys are just like the canaries in the coal mine, making sure that the tax cuts are safe for everyone. Such bravery and fortitude. I wonder how many sets of body armor and sunglasses their tax cuts would have paid for…
